Sister Elizabeth Ann Weiler, ASC, Minister of Care

As an Adorer of the Blood of Christ, I am privileged to be Coordinator of Care here at St. Agnes since Oct. 25th, 2010.  Our Foundress, Maria de Mattias, was interested in  “helping the dear neighbor” in whatever  way she could.  For her, that was in providing education for girls.  My own ministry has included teaching in Southern IL, and Southeast  MO, working as an Registered Nurse  in IL, MO and PA,  Pastoral Associate here in Springfield, and working with the mentally challenged.    Education includes a BA  in Psychology, and a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Ministry.

My ministry includes visiting the sick and elderly of the parish, helping people prepare for funerals.  I also assist the poor in the community in collaboration with the Well of Life and St. Vincent de Paul insofar as resources are available. Also planning regular get togethers with Seniors Unlimited.
